From a young age, I have been drawn to creative pursuits, experimenting with disciplines such as illustration, graphic design, fine arts, and music recording. Despite not having a traditional education in the arts, I have applied my skills in various fields and industries.
The COVID-19 pandemic presented me with an opportunity to pursue a design certificate from Thinkful, leading me to discover my passion for UX/UI design. Shortly after, I landed my first full-time position at UNION, a Charlotte-based ad agency later acquired by Valtech. As the only UX designer for most of my tenure, I was challenged to step outside of my comfort zone and take on leadership roles. This opportunity allowed me to work with a wide variety of clients from industries such as FinTech, Real Estate, Non-Profits, EdTech, E-commerce, and Telecommunications.
I now own my own design studio, .era, specializing in innovative digital experiences, creative direction and no-code solutions. I am dedicated to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional results.
